ICT AS A MEDIUM FOR ADVOCACY

 

1. How information and communications and technology (ICT) has transformed in the educational methodologies when you were in grade school and now in senior high school.

Information and communications  technology (ICT) has transformed when I was in elementary compared now in Senior High School, Lots of changes has occured from the technology and from the applications and website that we use now in this era.

 

 Back in elementary, We only use a loud speaker in a flag ceremony, where the national anthem will be played.

While currently on the present during any activities, National anthem will be played through video with a lyrics on it and Information and Communication technology (ICT) made it more convenient.

 

Concept notes, presentation of visual aids, class record, class dismissal, assignment and research also changes as years passes by,

 During Elementary days, teachers and students will just use a plain paper and notebook for there notes, Manila Paper and colored paper for visual aids.

 classrooms were still equipped with white boards; some teachers even had old fashioned-chalkboards. But as of now, Smartboards, digital whiteboards, and other interactive screens are the norm. With just a few taps, educators can access the internet, present video content, and even save students’ written responses. Blended learning, flipped classrooms, virtual classes, and many other innovative uses of technology are making online learning more and more common, rigorous, and effective.

Back then, you had to spend hours in the library looking through encyclopedias every time you were assigned a research paper.

Nowadays, though, all kids have to do is head to Google something and research papers, scientific articles, and other verifiable sources are at their fingertips.

 

ICTs are currently used in education to help students learn more successfully by giving teachers access to a variety of innovative methods. Teachers are also using these tools to help them do administrative work more quickly.

 

The advancement of technology is the most significant change between educations in the past and education nowadays. Obtaining knowledge used to be a challenging effort, but thanks to technological advancements, it is now much easier to obtain and absorb knowledge and information.
